I recently found an APP called "FLASHFOOD" which can let you save up to 50% on specific food items at SuperStore in Kelowna BC.
Superstore has a cooling fridge located next to customer service at the entrance. They add items each day that are either close to the best before date, over-stocked or discontinued. So each day you might find new items available to purchase through the app. Some items are only good for a couple more days while I've seen many items still have over a month left before the expiry date.
You can purchase the items directly through the APP and then pickup the items at the FlashFood fridge.
Once you have your items you go to Customer Service to let them know you have your items and they will confirm your pickup order as complete.

PLEASE NOTE: I learnt this myself the hard way (but FlashFood was excellent and gave me a refund). If you purchase anything, make sure you pick it up BEFORE the expiry date as the staff are obligated to throw any items away that are past the best before date.
